We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assistant Project Manager to support large-scale industrial HVAC, piping, and plumbing projects with budgets ranging from $20–$50 million. The ideal candidate will assist in managing all aspects of project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams to maintain efficient project workflows.
- Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Assist in procurement, tracking materials, and managing equipment logistics.
- Monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain quality and safety standards on-site.
- Prepare and manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Attend client meetings and provide project status updates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in HVAC, piping, or plumbing projects, particularly in industrial settings.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, codes, and construction processes.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam).
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- OSHA certification and a valid driver’s license are a plus.
