Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee ground-up commercial construction projects, with a focus on healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of construction practices, and experience managing complex projects from pre-construction through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Manage all phases of healthcare-focused commercial construction projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure cost control.
- Scheduling: Create and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating with all stakeholders to ensure timely progress.
- Team Collaboration: Lead and communicate with internal teams, subcontractors, and consultants to achieve project goals.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Compliance: Ensure all projects meet building codes, safety regulations, and healthcare-specific standards.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and address potential risks to avoid delays or cost overruns.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project records, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of project management experience in commercial construction.
- Experience with healthcare construction projects and knowledge of healthcare facility standards preferred.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam).
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Certifications:
- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Healthcare construction certifications (e.g., ASHE HCC) are highly desirable.
Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
