Position Overview
As a Mechanical Construction Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of large-scale mechanical construction projects, ensuring successful completion on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be based where the project is located, managing teams, resources, and client relationships to deliver outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale commercial mechanical construction projects.
- Oversee all aspects of HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications, budgets, and schedules.
- Coordinate with clients, general contractors, design teams, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and procurement strategies.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Lead and mentor field teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent field experience.
- 5 years of experience managing large-scale commercial mechanical construction projects.
- Expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems, with a deep understanding of construction methods and standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar software.
- Willingness to travel full-time to project locations across the United States.
