Position Overview:
As the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple ground-up commercial projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with the project team, clients, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage ground-up commercial projects from start to finish.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project success.
- Manage procurement, contracts, and negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and project standards.
- Provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders on project status and resolve issues.
- Ensure accurate management of documentation (change orders, RFIs, submittals).
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Project Manager in the commercial construction industry, with a strong background in managing ground-up projects.
- Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects with budgets over $10 million.
- Expertise in all phases of construction, including pre-construction, design, procurement, construction, and close-out.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams and subcontractors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in project management software (Procore, Buildertrend, Microsoft Project, etc.).
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
