Job Summary:
The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department for multiple sites/facilities, including assisting with the interviewing and hiring process, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, work assessments and license renewals.
- Conducts background screenings, UA/ health screenings and employee eligibility verifications.
- Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Corresponds with new hire candidates on a daily basis to obtain necessary documentation for employment
- Acts as a liaison for Human Resources Director and Talent Acquisition Manager
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to onboarding, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Assist with weekly payroll (Prepare employee time cards for payroll, collect invoices, ensure PTO and benefit deductions are added and correct)
- Assist with benefit enrollments
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Familiarity with FL, GA & CA labor laws
- Familiarity with Paychex, ADP, DocuSign and Concentra systems
- At least one year of human resource experience is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
