Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to lead a team effectively. This role is crucial in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present accurate financial reports in accordance with IFRS and SOX regulations.
• Oversee the general ledger reconciliation process to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Manage the preparation of regulatory reports and ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Supervise the accounting team, providing guidance on double entry bookkeeping and financial concepts.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support operational decision-making.
• Evaluate and enhance financial software systems for improved reporting efficiency.
• Conduct regular audits of financial processes to ensure adherence to established policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Controller or similar role within a corporate finance environment.
• Proficiency in financial report writing and regulatory reporting practices.
• Experience with general ledger reconciliation and double entry bookkeeping methods.
• Familiarity with various financial software applications for reporting and analysis.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong leadership abilities with effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
