Position Title: Machine Operator
2nd Shift 3:45p-2:15a Monday-Thursday
Over-time on Friday's as needed (8hours)
Pay Rate: $16 (Dependent upon experience)
Reports to: Production Manager
Position Summary:
The machine operator position operates various machines in production under supervision and direction of production manager.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Tasks/ Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Performs typical machine operations to support the production needs.
- Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required per the SOP.
- Must be able to perform but not limited to the following tasks: Basic machine operations, trouble shooting skills and Quality inspection.
- Must be familiar with the basic machine functions in order to perform the tasks stated above.
- Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regard to machine set-up.

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
- Minimum of one year of factory-related experience
- Training in general safety, electrostatic discharge awareness, foreign object damage awareness, and quality system awareness
Working Conditions/Job Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
