CNC operator I is responsible for operating and continuing to learn how to operate CNC machines.

CNC operator I is responsible for operating and continuing to learn how to operate CNC machines.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- At least a year of experience working with hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment
- Willingness to learn to run CNC horizontal and/or vertical machines, and basic CNC machining. (reading drawings and understanding tolerances, Tool changes. Tool offsets)
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Communication and problem-solving skills
- Dependable and reliable
CORE DUTIES
- Learn to Operate and set up CNC Machines with little assistance.
- Have an understanding of how the machine works to help maintain the machinery for which they are responsible, and ensure it functions properly
- Learn to make tool offsets with no assistance
- Learn to Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly
HOURS
- 1st shift
- Monday - Thursday, 5:30 am – 4:00 pm.
- Overtime as needed
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen. Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
