Restaurant Host

Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a vibrant restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, managing reservations, and ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive. This role is crucial in setting the tone for the dining experience and requires excellent communication and customer service skills.

PAY: $9 PER HOUR Tips

Duties:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
- Provide accurate wait times and keep guests informed of their status.
- Assist with guest inquiries and provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, enhancing guest relations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality while ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.

Qualities:
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred, particularly in restaurants or hotels.
- Strong communication skills are essential, including phone etiquette when handling reservations or guest inquiries.
- A passion for providing excellent guest services and creating memorable experiences for customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
