We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring their inquiries are addressed promptly and effectively. You will play a crucial role in supporting our operations in freight and logistics, utilizing various transportation management systems to enhance customer satisfaction and streamline processes.
Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries related to freight, shipping, and logistics.
- Scheduling customers and assigning them to technicians.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding scheduling.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely repairs of customers' appliances.
- Monitor GPS tracking systems to provide real-time updates on when a technician is available..
- Assist in resolving customer complaints or issues related to their repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the system.
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably within the freight or logistics industry.
- Familiarity with dispatching new calls.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes as well as fleet management practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in using GPS technology for tracking shipments is a plus.
