About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Process Operations Specialist to join our team at Dicalite Minerals Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of processing plant and manufacturing facility upgrade projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop project scopes, budgets, timelines, and resource plans and communicate goals, progress, and results to the team and senior management.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure timely completion.
- Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Oversee the development of engineering designs for mineral processing equipment and systems.
- Collaborate with the team to develop solutions for technical challenges and optimize processes.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within cost constraints.
- Track expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
- Provide regular financial reporting to senior management.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations, and safety.
Requirements
- A degree in Engineering (or a related field).
- 3-5 years of experience in project engineering, preferably in mineral processing or heavy industrial environments.
- Heavy Industrial construction experience.
- Knowledge of budgeting and cost estimation for heavy industrial projects.
- Experience developing electronic mechanical engineering drawings.
- Understanding of PLC program logic and electronic monitoring equipment.
