Here is your opportunity to experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. What is a DSP? You provide support to the client in their homes and in the community. We help the community understand and embrace diversity and help our clients navigate the community they live in. D.I.C.E (Diversity, Inclusion, Community and Equality) Residential Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSP). In addition, as a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and / or autism. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Duties :

• Support individuals with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals
• Administer medication and monitor vital signs as directed by healthcare professionals
• Assist with transportation and accompany individuals to appointments, community outings or possible overnight outings as planned.
• Implement individualized care plans (IISP) and document progress and observations using our electronic medical records and medication administration record.
• Support individuals in developing independent living skills and meeting client specific goals.
• Provide assistance with household tasks and maintain a clean and safe environment
• Respond to emergency situations and provide first aid when necessary and no the DDA mandatory reporting requirements for abuse and neglect.
