We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Parts Personnel to join our team. In this role, you will sell automotive parts to customers through various channels and manage the efficient flow of automotive parts in and out of our dealership. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, excellent organizational skills, a solid understanding of automotive parts, and a proven ability to manage multiple sales channels effectively.
Parts Personnel Compensation and Benefits:
Automotive Parts Personnel Competitive Pay: 2% commission of parts gross profits, wholesale gross profit, and retail gross profit. Average monthly compensation of $5,000-$8000.

Parts Personnel Responsibilities:
- Assists all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
- Informs customers of companion part requirements and specials and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
- Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
- Pulls and fills orders from stock.
- Receives and unpacks materials and supplies.
- Reports damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement, and record-keeping purposes.
- Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
- Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary.
- Notifies the service advisor and the customer when special ordered parts have been received.
- Follows up on back-ordered parts.
- Makes sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
- Keeps front and rear counter areas clean and uncluttered.
- Participates in all training programs that are made available.
- Keeps current on new products and product updates.
- Excellent communication skills.

- Physical ability to use computer hardware/software.
