Job Summary / Basic Function The Project Coordinator for Campus Life will support project work in new student programs, student activities, residence life & housing. They should create and facilitate distinctive conditions and programs throughout the campus that intentionally foster learning, promote inclusion and self-governance, and seek engagement from its members. The Project Coordinator is a member of the Campus Life team and reports to the Associate Director of Campus Life for Orientation and Campus Activities.
Essential Functions :
- Plans and Implements leadership programming, such as Red Devils Rising and Leadership Recognition Ceremony (LRC) as directed.
- Coordinates new student orientation planning and implementation in January. Assist with planning for Orientation in August which includes Explore More Programs / Pre-Orientation Programs.
- Support Welcome Week programming occurring in the first two weeks of the semester. Plan for Welcome Week.
- Support Finals Week programming at the end of each semester and plan a pop event during that time.
- Provide oversight for Campus Life’s social media presence, including but not limited to, Instagram and Facebook.
- This is a live-on position that provides support as needed to, campus activities, orientation and residence life & housing.
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree
Less than 12 months experence A valid Driver's Licence is required. Employees (operators) must have been in possession of a valid operator’s license for not less than three (3) years and the license must have been in good standing without interruption during that time period. No Successful candidate will also be required to complete ACT 153 Clearance No This position is considered "Emergency Staff." As such they may be required to report to work even when the college is closed or is operating under a delayed start.
