What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Cycle Counter position at Dicor Corporation?
Summary/Objective:
Inventory Cycle Counter is responsible for counting inventory items daily, identifying and researching variances, participating in physical inventories, and working with the Plant Manager and other department personnel to understand the variances and suggest corrective action.
Essential Functions:

- Daily and weekly inventory cycle counts against valuation reports
- Researching all discrepancies
- Work closely with other departments to resolve all inventory issues with receiving and cycle counts
- Processing and researching work orders and production entries
- Assisting with physical inventories and resolving discrepancies
- Assist with other items as directed to by management

Work Environment:
This job is a Monday through Friday hourly position required to work between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm as needed by demand. This job operates in a professional office 50% of the time and within a manufacturing warehouse 50% of the time. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as telephones, computers, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position is also required to travel between warehouse locations as needed by demand. This list is not all inclusive.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to speak and listen. This position requires long periods of walking through the warehouse. The employee may be required to lift/move items over 15 pounds.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This job is a Monday through Friday hourly position required to work between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm as needed by demand. Adjustments to this schedule are available upon approval based on an 8-hour work day.
