The didgwlic Wellness Center is looking for a highly organized Administrative Assistantto join our integrated outpatient care clinic that combines primary care, behavioral health, and opiate treatment. We are expanding and have openings for our clinic in Anacortes or our satellite clinic in Bellingham Washington. In this role you'll besupporting our Practice Administrator and Chief Medical Officer (CMO) with operational and administrative details. In this posiiton you'll play an important role ensuring smooth operations within our medical department.

What You'll do
- Exerciseindependent judgement in managing assigned work activities ensuring objectives are met.
- Determinepriority for matters of attention for the Practice Administrator/CMO, redirects matters to staff to handle, or handles matters personally, as appropriate.
- Exerciseutmost professionalism and discretion handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Work independently on special projects as assigned by the Practice Administrator from conception to completion.
- Researches, prioritizes and follows up on incoming projects addressed to the Practice Administrator.
- Prioritizeconflicting needs; handlematters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
- Schedulemeetings, prepare and distributemeeting agenda materials, records and distributes meeting minutes.
- Prepareand review reports, and summarizes documents as requested.
- Manage policies and procedures.
- Attend and actively participates in all department, team and/or committee meetings taking minutes as requested.
- Support, and leadwhen appropriate, on projects in support of the organization.
- Plan, coordinateand ensuresthe appropriate Practice Administrator schedule is followed and respected.
- Administerand maintaininternal newsletter, The Hummingbird.
- Collaboratewith Executive Administrative Assistant supporting the Executive Team on special projects and administrative support.
- Assist Executive Administrative Assistant with special company sponsored events.
Must Haves*
- High school diploma
- Bachelors degree in business administration or related field preferred.
- 2 years of administrative experience supporting manager/director leadership level
- Strong time management skills and multitasking ability.
- Advanced knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
- Ability to work in a cross-culture environment.
- Effective communication; written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other related programs.
- Ability to pass an extensive background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Tribal affiliation a plus!
