At the didgwálic Wellness Center, our mission is to provide comprehensive, high-quality healthcare services and remove barriers to recovery. We deliver integrated care all under one roof, including primary care, behavioral health, and medication-assisted treatment for Substance Use Disorder (SUD). We also go one step further, by removing barriers to care by providing transportation, child watch, and case management.

What You'll do
As CFO, you'll play a critical role in shaping our financial health and strategic direction. Your responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with the CEO to develop and execute program, organizational, and financial plans
- Managing financial strategies by evaluating trends, setting key performance metrics, designing efficient systems, and implementing innovative solutions to address challenges and drive improvements.
- Analyzing economic trends, identifying new revenue opportunities, and planning for acquisitions and expansion to help the organization achieve its goals.
- Leading the development of both short and long-term financial objectives and providing insightful analysis of operational results, trends, and growth drivers.
- Creating, reviewing, and monitoring annual budgets, developing accurate forecasts, and delivering financial reports with actionable insights.
- Ensuring seamless month and year-end processes, preparing for annual audits, and maintaining compliance with all financial regulations.
- Streamlining accounting operations and maximizing automation to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Leading, training, and supporting accounting staff while fostering a positive, collaborative work environment across departments.
- Partnering with the CEO on resource utilization, tax strategies, and developing assumptions for budget forecasts.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- Master's degree in business administration, accounting or finance, preferred.
- 10 years of experience leading finance and accounting teams with healthcare and Medicare experience, preferred.
- CPA license, preferred
- Proficiency with ERP accounting software (experience with MIP and Microix preferred) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of economic and accounting principles, financial data analysis, and business management practices, including strategic planning and resource allocation.
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to develop creative solutions and make sound decisions.
- Exceptional organizational skills, the ability to work well in diverse team environments, and effective conflict resolution capabilities.
- A commitment to accuracy and high-quality work.
- Understanding and the ability to adhere to state (RCW, WAC) and federal confidentiality regulations (42 CFR part 2).
- Ability to work in a cross-cultural setting with an understanding of the role of trauma and historical experiences in wellness and recovery.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screening, and reference check.
