The didgwlic Wellness Center is looking for a highly organized Clinic Manager to join our integrated outpatient care clinic that combines primary care, behavioral health, and opiate treatment. We are expanding and will be hiring for our satellite clinic in Bellingham Washington. In this role you will be responsible for the overall management and operations of the Bellingham clinic. This includes overseeing staff, managing patient flow, ensuring regulatory compliance with the goal of delivering quality health care services. In collaboration with the Practice Administrator, Clinic Manager coordinates office services and other related activities including development, management, and supervision of clinics employees and programs.

Our comprehensive services include primary care, behavioral health, and opiate treatment in a dedicated care team model. We also go beyond these services to support our clients by offering a range of services like transportation, childcare, dental services, acupuncture, yoga, case management, and even free lunches while onsite. We have two locations, our beautiful, state-of-the-art facility is located near Anacortes, as well as a satellite location in Bellingham Washington.

What You'll do:

  • Provide facility management/oversight as defined by the operations team including the day-to-day operations of the clinic, scheduling, and inventory management.
  • Provide supervision, mentoring, training, and development opportunities to clinics medical and administrative personnel, including regular performance coaching and feedback.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings for all clinical and administrative personnel to discuss matters pertaining to treatment issues, policies and procedures, case management, and staff relations.
  • Assist Practice Administrator in planning for the development of new clinical programs, creation and implementation of policies and processes for personnel, department, treatment services, and records.
  • Direct and oversee patient care within our defined clinical practice scope, ensuring smooth and efficient clinical operations.
  • Report to Department of Health, Board of Pharmacy, SAMHSA and DBHR. SAMHSAs federal opioid treatment standards, found in 42 CFR 8.12.
  • Comply with all provisions from Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
  • Develop and manage all budget related activities for the Bellingham Clinic.
  • Monitor organization-wide performance improvement activities as a member of the didgwlic management team and participate in staff meetings and/or consultations as requested.
  • Work with Organizational leadership to develop and implement the Quality Management Plan.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance within the clinic.
  • Work collaboratively with leadership team to strengthen and develop operational framework.
  • Act as a liaison between Bellingham clinic and broader didgwlic organization, fostering strong interdepartmental relationships.
  • All other duties as assigned by the Practice Administrator.

Must Haves:

  • Bachelors degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience managing daily clinical operations.
  • Experience working in a substance abuse treatment facility and or familiarity with Medication Assisted Treatment (Methadone, Buprenorphine, Naltrexone) preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to balance competing priorities while remaining flexible and ready to assume additional responsibilities.
  • Excellent leadership ability- ability to build trust, foster collaboration, and consensus, develop staff, while meeting the needs of the organization and our mission.
  • Ability to work in a cross-culture environment, understands the social and cultural context of the patients at the didgalic Wellness Center. Understand the role of trauma, historical, community, family, and personal experience in wellness and recovery.
  • Understand and adhere to state (RCW, WAC) and federal regulations (42 CFR part 2).
  • Effective communication; written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution.
  • Basic computer and software experience using MS Office products.
  • Experience managing daily clinical operations.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other related programs.
  • Ability to pass an extensive background check and pre-employment drug screening.
  • Tribal affiliation a plus!
