This qualified candidate will responsible for monitoring construction compliance and erosion and control measures, recording material quantities and project activities and performing compaction testing.

Dieffenbauch & Hritz is currently seeking a motivated Construction Inspector to join our growing inspection team in Morgantown, WV. This qualified candidate will responsible for monitoring construction compliance and erosion and control measures, recording material quantities and project activities and performing compaction testing.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor heavy construction sites to ensure contractors are compliant with plans and specifications of the client.
- Document project activities with daily reports and pictures.
- Document quantities of materials delivered to the site.
- Monitor erosion and control measures.
- Perform material sampling and compaction testing with nuclear gauge.
- Serve as a liaison between the contractor and client.
- One (1) year experience of construction observation, construction inspection or construction supervision with large scale earth moving projects.
- Experience with oil and gas.
- Valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle report (MVR).
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings and a background check.
- Able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- PEC Safeland and / or OSHA 10 training preferred.
- Experience with compaction testing a plus.
