Dieffenbauch & Hritz is currently seeking a motivated Survey Field Technician / Crew Chief to join our growing survey team in Bridgeport, WV. This qualified candidate will be responsible for performing land surveys that will include topographic and boundary survey, construction stakeout, as-built survey procedures and deliverables. The ideal candidate will be capable of performing the field work and have experience with CAD drafting and design software.

This qualified candidate will be responsible for performing land surveys that will include topographic and boundary survey, construction stakeout, as-built survey procedures and deliverables. The ideal candidate will be capable of performing the field work and have experience with CAD drafting and design software.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete boundary, construction, topographical, civil surveys utilizing GPS, conventional total station and leveling.
- Run a survey crew efficiently.
- Keep proper field notes and sketches for work performed.
- Process survey data for field work complected; assist with the completion of the field to finish processing and mapping of survey data.
- Bachelor's or Associates Degree in a survey, engineering, drafting technology or related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years of progressive survey industry experience.
- Intermediate experience with Trimble GPS receives, TSC3 Data Collectors and Total Station.
- Entry level use of software including: Trimble Access, Trimble Business Center, Carlson Survey and AutoCAD.
- Valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle report (MVR).
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings and a background check.
- PEC Safeland and / or OSHA 10 training preferred.
