What does the job involve?
The CNC Machinist will operate CNC machines according to work order and blueprint specifications, using necessary fixtures and tooling.
What will my responsibilities include?
- Reading the work order data and operating the CNC machine accordingly.
- Inspect parts per print specifications and inspection intervals determined by the Quality Department.
- Ensure accurate part counts during machining.
- Follow standard work processes and carry out responsibilities in a safe manner.
- This position may involve exposure to, but is not limited to, the following materials: acrylic, polycarbonate, FR-4 epoxy glass, GPO (I, II, III) polyester glass, HDPE (high-density polyethylene), glass epoxy, G9 glass melamine laminate, copper, brass, and aluminum.

- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds
What qualifications should I have?
- CNC equipment operation with 1-2 years machining experience preferred. Must have ability to read and interpret product drawings. CNC programming knowledge helpful but not required.
SAFETY EQUIPMENT AND REQUIREMENTS: Duties performed in a manufacturing plant environment. Lifting up to 70 lbs. Hearing protection and eye protection is required and provided on the manufacturing floor.
Safety-toe footwear must comply with ANSI Standard ANSI Z41-1991 (see policy), no loose clothing, hair or accessories. Observe all safety regulations of the department and the plant.
