Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of technical accounting principles, as well as proficiency in various accounting software and systems.
Duties
- Process and manage vendor invoices and payments in a timely manner.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Maintain the general ledger by recording all accounts payable transactions.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other financial regulations.
- Assist with benefits administration related to employee accounts.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
- Prepare reports on accounts payable activities for management review.
Experience
- Proven experience in an accounts payable or similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and financial concepts.
- Familiarity with Acumatica
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with vendors and internal teams.
