Diestel Family Turkey Ranch is a family-owned 4th generation turkey ranch seeking a passionate, goal-oriented, and detailed individual to work in our customer service/sales department. We are a sustainable meat company that for over 60-years has provided the natural foods industry with great tasting products you can feel good about feeding to your family. The ideal candidate would passionately perform various duties to drive sales while ensuring exceptional customer service consistent with our mission statement. Our products are currently available at most natural or specialty health food stores. We are committed to sustainable agriculture and enlightening our customers with highest quality products available.

Account Coordinator responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

1. Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters working to build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. This would include developing strong trusted advisor relationships with key accounts and executive account level managers when appropriate.

2. Negotiate pricing, account contracts and close sales agreements to maximize profits and increase sales with assigned accounts for year-round and holiday orders.

3. Clearly communicate and articulate weekly, monthly and quarterly sales reporting and initiatives to leadership within the Diestel Team. Additionally from extensive sales analysis find areas of growth and opportunity with existing and new customers to expand distribution and grow same store sales.

4. Identify and initiate potential accounts or sales categories by studying current business trends, consistently interviewing key customers and team members as well as maintaining strong personal networks to increase service levels and sales for new and existing customers or segments of the market (retail, foodservice, online distributor, meal subscription etc)

5. Generate solutions for new and existing customers opening up freight lanes, creative development of promotional programs/strategies and ensure timely, thoughtful and well-developed written and verbal communication to all customers.

6. Forecast and track key account metrics anticipating customer’s needs as well as dynamically reporting on the success or failure of programs currently implemented

7. Collaborate with the outside sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territories, provide sales support leveraging point of sale materials and assisting with challenging customer requests or issues.

8. Represent the brand through daily management of the online store transactions, compost sales, customer and consumer emails going above and beyond to service our customer’s needs and find solutions to their needs when applicable.

9. Demonstrate The Diestel Difference in written and verbal communication as well as coordinating dynamic ranch tours or off-site events and food shows.

Account Coordinator Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 year college degree. Or equivalent technical and/or perishable food experience.
• Minimum 2 years work experience in customer service, sales/marketing, distribution or related field(s).
• Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule, including weekends and evenings during the holidays.
• Must be extremely proficient in MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint)

Physical Demands:

1. Regularly required to stand; use hands to fingers, handle or feel objects, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.

2. Occasionally required to walk, sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
3. Occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs.
4. Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
