About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as Human Resources Manager. In this role, you will be working directly with the Director of Human resources on day to day employee-related matters. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to performance management, employee relations, training and development, benefits administration, policy implementation and remaining knowledgeable on all current employment laws and legislation. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional organizational skills, a flexible, get-it-done attitude, and excellent communication abilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Manage daily HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, employee questions, and HR documentation
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies; coordinate with legal/PEO as needed
• Administer employee benefits and act as liaison with our PEO for benefits, compliance, and employee relations
• Maintain and optimize our HR platform (BambooHR), including workflows, data accuracy, and reporting
• Serve as a resource for managers and employees on policies, performance management, and feedback
• Support employee development, career progression, and performance review processes
• Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
• Identify employee-related issues and implement resolutions
• Oversee compensation benchmarking and assist with salary planning
• Oversee aspects of the recruiting and hiring process
• Nurture a positive working environment while maintaining the company culture
• Plan and oversee corporate events and employee recognition
• Create and oversee KPI’s
• Take on additional HR-related tasks and cross-functional projects as assigned
Job Qualifications:
• A.S. or B.S. in Human Resources, Human Behavior related field, or a similar discipline.
• Minimum 3-4 years’ professional experience in Human Resources required.
• In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
• Must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong verbal and written professional communication skills are required.
• Ability to effectively conduct research and make advisements to management team based on research outcomes.
• Must possess excellent mentoring, coaching, and employee management skills.
• Must be able to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Must be a team player.
• Ability to take initiative, learn quickly and be a team player who takes responsibility and ownership of their work.
• Intermediate computer skills a must (including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
