Overview
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasonographer to join our medical team. As an Ultrasonographer, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical imaging services utilizing ultrasound technology.
Duties
- Perform ultrasound procedures following established protocols
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by physicians
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate patient diagnosis
- Provide patient care and comfort during procedures
- Utilize aseptic techniques to prevent infections
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and address concerns
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Imaging or related field preferred
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or ARRT (S) certification required.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
- Experience in diagnostic radiology and patient care
- Specialization in areas such as Obstetrics/Gynecology (Ob/Gyn) is a plus
