Security Guards work at multiple locations throughout the park to maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, visitors, and property. This role requires a keen attention to detail, exceptional observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.
Requirements:
- Meet minimum age requirement of 18 years old to be considered for this position.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Able to lift and carry heavy objects
- Availability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Position Summary:
- Greet, monitor, and screen employees, guests, visitors, and other personnel
- Patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Report any suspicious activity, incidents, or breaches of security to the appropriate authorities.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and security systems.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, including medical emergencies, fire alerts, theft, and security breaches.
- Maintain accurate and detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
- Interact effectively with employees, visitors, and external stakeholders, providing information and assistance as needed.
- Maintain ride queue lines, sending line jumpers to the back to ensure an efficient boarding process
- Enforce company policies and procedures regarding safety and security.
- Keep unauthorized personnel out of restricted areas
- Escort guests and team members as needed for assistance and protection
- Be willing to assist in other departments as needed
- Helping to maintain a clean and clear working area for guests
- Participate in training sessions and drills to remain current on security protocols and procedures.
- Assist in maintaining the physical security of premises by monitoring surveillance cameras and security systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service while ensuring a safe environment for all.
- Assist in deescalating issues that may arise with guests and team members
