The Business System Analyst - Oracle will serve as a liaison and subject matter expert in the Oracle Fusion Financial applications, collaborating with business teams, IT professionals, and software vendors to ensure effective utilization and alignment of the software with business objectives. This position requires an understanding of business functionality within Oracle Fusion and includes broad responsibilities across daily support, quarterly upgrades, user management, security role approval, and compliance.
This is not exclusively an essential onsite role, though it will require onsite attendance 20-25% of the time in Thief River Falls, MN throughout the year. During the beginning of the role, onsite presence in Thief River Falls, MN will be heavier.
Responsibilities:
Act as a liaison between business units and development teams; bridging requirements and solutions, assessing levels of customer satisfaction, and confirming expectations
Configure Oracle Fusion Financials applications as needed to support solution design and future business requirements
Communicate proactively and frequently with business users to build and maintain a solid working relationship
Design and implement custom reports using Oracle Fusion Financials reporting tools to address company needs and improve frequency, accuracy, and timeliness of reporting
Maintain expert product knowledge and use an analytical approach to identifying opportunities for enhancements
Maintain workflow approval configurations (e.g., for changes in approvers)
Perform impact assessments, meet with users and collaborate on test design to ensure all required testing is performed prior to Oracle upgrade deployment
Develops test scripts and manage execution of tests as applicable (system administrator may be accountable for certain tests and consulted on others)
Guide users with online training and perform one-on-one training
Maintain audit controls for system access and change management
Assist with annual audit for any ERP related deliverables as requested by external and internal auditors
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the software's performance, user satisfaction, and impact on business outcomes
Adhere to and understand segregation of duties and controls in accordance with company defined standards and policies
Assist users with personalization, mobile features, report scheduling and processing
Maintain documentation for ERP configurations, technical objects, and procedures
Monitor Oracle Customer Connect for valuable information and feedback
Document and report on user access, segregation of duties, role configuration, procedures, and processes

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Minimum/Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, Computer Science or related field
3-5 years of experience in Business Systems Administration or related field
Ability to configure all Cloud ERP Financials applications, including General Ledger, Payables, Expenses, Assets & Receivables
Excellent problem solving and debugging skills with experience in troubleshooting issues for Cloud Financials applications
Strong analytical skills and ability to think in a complex and rapidly changing environment
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders, both technical and non-technical
Extensive experience and expertise in working with the specific software system, including a thorough understanding of its functionalities, configurations, and integrations
Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa
Deep understanding of all finance business processes, including accounting and corporate reporting standards
Project management skills to coordinate and oversee system updates and process improvements
Training and presentation skills to effectively educate and support employees in utilizing the software
Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities to identify process inefficiencies and propose effective solutions
Familiarity with documentation practices and report generation
