Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst/Consultant with expertise in Real-Time Payments (RTP) for a contingent resource assignment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Technology Business Systems Consulting and be capable of contributing to complex, large-scale initiatives with broad impact. You will play a key role in analyzing multifaceted business and operational challenges and collaborating with client teams to deliver optimal solutions.

As a consultant, you will be responsible for:

• Analyzing and reviewing complex Technology Business Systems Consulting challenges, including evaluating multiple factors such as business processes, compliance requirements, and systems impacts.
• Collaborating strategically with client personnel to identify and resolve complex business problems, ensuring effective delivery of business requirements.
• Contributing to testing systems development by creating and executing test scripts.
• Providing technical specifications and understanding payment processing flows to create business requirements that drive development.
• Assisting with payment mapping specifications, detailing workflows, and ensuring partner applications understand and integrate necessary changes.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in Business Systems Data or Business Systems Design (work, consulting, military, education, or equivalent).
• 1 year of experience in Real-Time Payments (RTP) is mandatory.
• 7 years of professional experience in business support and skills relevant to the job.
• Experience in development of business requirements and identifying the business/operational impacts related to change implementations.
• Strong ability to evaluate complex challenges and develop solutions.
• Experience supporting testing of system developments, including creating and executing test scripts.
• Knowledge of payments processing (RTP, Zelle networks) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile environments, with experience as a product owner or knowledge of Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence).
• Experience in writing user stories, creating business requirements, and performing testing and validation.
• Understanding of payment mapping, schemas, validations, and business rules.
• Financial Services background is a requirement.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Participate in projects that require understanding of tech specifications and processing flow to drive business requirements.
• Assist in testing and validation work, including writing test scripts and performing testing.
• Write business requirements and user stories based on project needs.
• Analyze payment flows, create payment mapping specifications, and ensure application changes align with partner applications.
• Detail workflows and create JSON, schemas, and other necessary documents for payment integration.
• Work as part of an Agile team and contribute to continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in ISO messaging (not required, but beneficial).
• Experience in payment mapping, particularly related to RTP and similar payment networks.
• Ability to create detailed business rules, workflows, and validate payment processing data.
