Duties and Responsibilities
1. Industrial Security Compliance:
- o Assist in ensuring compliance with NISPOM, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and other applicable regulations.
- o Support preparation for and execution of DCSA security audits and inspections.
- o Conduct regular self-inspections to identify and resolve compliance gaps.
2. Personnel Security:
- o Process and maintain personnel security clearances in the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and other relevant systems.
- o Conduct security briefings, debriefings, and annual refresher training for employees.
- o Monitor clearance statuses and ensure compliance with Continuous Evaluation (CE) requirements.
3. Document and Information Security:
- o Maintain control and accountability of classified documents, including storage, transmission, and destruction.
- o Ensure proper marking, handling, and safeguarding of classified materials in accordance with regulations.
4. Visitor and Facility Access Control:
- o Manage visitor requests and ensure compliance with access control policies.
- o Assist with physical security measures, including badge management and alarm system monitoring.
5. Incident and Risk Management:
- o Investigate and report security incidents to appropriate authorities.
- o Support the Insider Threat Program by identifying, reporting, and mitigating potential risks.
6. Program Support:
- o Coordinate with program managers and government customers to meet specific contract security requirements.
- o Assist with the drafting and submission of DD254s for classified contracts.
Minimum Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial security or a related field.
- Working knowledge of NISPOM, DISS, and other relevant security regulations and systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum active Secret clearance: Top-Secret/SCI clearance strongly preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
