Maintenance Test Pilot/Examiner

Duties and Responsibilities

DigiFlight, Inc., is a Large Business with offices in Columbia, MD and Huntsville, AL serving as the AH-64 New Equipment Training provider for the US Army’s Apache Program Management Office. DigiFlight may have a requirement for Maintenance Test Pilots/Maintenance Examiners (MTP/ME) to support US Army and FMS customers. This requirement may include other airframe types (CH, UH and other FW aircraft).

The MTP/ME shall serve as an MTP/ME supporting maintenance operations at CONUS and OCONUS locations. The MTP/ME shall assist maintenance effort by performing maintenance operational checks, ground run-ups, check flights and maintenance test flights to ensure operational readiness for US Army and FMS aircraft. In addition, the MTP/ME may be designated to perform TI duties.

Minimum Experience

• · Must have a minimum of 2,000 hours total time, and a minimum of 200 cumulative MTP/ME flight hours in their specific airframe.
• · Must be a graduate of the US Army Maintenance Manager and MTP Courses.
• · Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as an MTP.
• · Must have completed flight and training courses and meet the qualification requirements in AR95-20/ DCMA 8210-1D.
• · Must have passed a proficiency evaluation within the previous 12 months.
• · Must provide MTPC qualification certificate.
• · Must have current FAA Class II medical certificate
• · Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• · Must be a U.S. Citizen
• · Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
• · Must have a valid US Passport
• · Previous AFMD experience is desired.
• · AH-64E MTP/ME v6 qualification is desired
