Job Title : Student TA - ART-1220-A (Finnerty), S25
Reports to : Ryan Finnerty
Class Times : Tuesdays; 2 to 5pm
Duties and Responsibilities
- Classroom set up and tear-down tables and / or easels during class
- Making copies for students
- Assisting students in labs and during published office hours
- Meeting students online, if required
- Providing constructive feedback in the grading to the students
- Set-up and execution of events
- Clean, maintain equipment
- Assist instructor
- Organizing
- Accountable for tracking and reporting the amount of time worked
- Have proven proficiency with the course material
- Possess a positive attitude toward learning and a willingness to help others excel
- Be comfortable interacting with other students on an instructional level as a mentor
- Arrive on time and be prepared to attend with complete focus during work hours
- Successfully completed ART-1220
- Able to give critique in a professional manner
- Strong communicator
- Reliable, punctual, and invested in the success of their fellow students
- Be able to work independently
- Once again, students are not permitted to work during any time when they are scheduled for a class.

- Good Academic Standing - not on Academic Warning as defined in DigiPen Course Catalog
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher

Expected number of hours per week : 4 - 5
Wage Range :
16.66 - 17.75 per hour , depending on number of terms worked at DigiPen

Working Conditions :
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands : some lifting, carrying, pushing, and / or pulling; some stooping, kneeling, and / or crouching; and fine finger dexterity. May need to lift up to 40 lbs. Generally, the job requires lots of walking and carrying.
