Middle / High School P.E. Teacher for 2025-26

SCHOOL SNAPSHOT & QUALIFICATIONS:

The Digital Arts & Technology Academy (DATA) has a student-centered, innovative, and collaborative culture focused on creativity, equity and SEL for students in grades 7-12.

• We look forward to hearing from educators who have a passion for teaching and a desire to inspire students. We are seeking those with content and pedagogical expertise, and additional endorsements are a plus.
• Applicants must have a valid NM Teaching License and appropriate endorsement.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience and a background / endorsement in Health is preferred.
• Additional endorsements are also helpful.

PAY & BENEFITS:

• As with all teachers in the state, pay is dependent on licensure level, education, and experience. Full-time, full year pay is between $55,000 and $75,000 annually plus any additional raises or requirements determined by the State of NM for 2025-26.
• This is a full-time teacher position and comes with a full benefits package.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
• Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a positive learning environment.
• Incorporate a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse student needs.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and enhance student learning experiences.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
