What are the responsibilities and job description for the EKG Technician position at Digital Diagnostics, Inc.?

- Will work closely with physicians, staff, patients, and visitors to provide excellent customer service care
- Actively screen monitors for abnormal rhythms, morphology changes, and cardiac events
- Provide accurate report and timely notification of cardiac changes to appropriate medical personnel
- Conduct routine reporting of all patients and send to client hospital staff at the appropriate times
- Assist facility with admissions and discontinuations on the cardiac telemetry system
- Provide timely notification to hospital staff EKG stream is lost (leads off, loss of signal, battery replacement, etc.)
- Ensure all patient documentation is entered in correctly in the appropriate locations (patient master list, call logs, shift changes)
- Required to collaborate in a team environment and contribute to successful patient care culture
- Excellent communication skills when working with patients, families, physicians and other health care team members
- Basic computer skills
