The Vice President of Network and Security will lead the strategic and operational management of the company's network infrastructure and security framework. This executive role is critical in ensuring the integrity, resilience, and efficiency of IT services and systems. The VP will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of network and security solutions that support the organizational goals and protect against existing and emerging security threats.
Department : Executive Reports to : Lawrence Griffith Location : Chicago, Illinois
THIS POSITION WILL ENTAIL :
- Developing and executing a cohesive network and security strategy that aligns with the company's objectives and risk tolerance.
- Leading the network and security teams, overseeing the deployment of network and security infrastructures, and managing large scale projects.
- Establishing and maintaining secure network architectures for both cloud based and on-premise environments.
- Proactively monitoring the company's security and network performance, implementing improvements as necessary.
- Conducting and overseeing regular systems tests and ensuring continuous monitoring of network security.
- Developing and enforcing policies and procedures for network administration, security protocols, and disaster recovery.
- Managing vendor relationships and negotiating with service providers to ensure service levels meet company needs.
- Staying current with the latest networking and security technologies and trends, and applying this knowledge to improve the infrastructure.
- Other duties as assigned.
