Small but very-rapidly growing agency in Northbrook, IL (just north of Chicago) is seeking a marketing assistant/project manager to work on a variety of projects for multiple clients. Great opportunity for a recent college grad in advertising or marketing.
You'll report directly to the agency president and contribute both strategically and tactically to a number of accounts.
Job is on-site at least four days a week in Northbrook, Fridays from home (or your favorite coffee shop).
The ideal candidate is a highly organized self-starter who is capable of working cross-functionally on the planning and the implementation of marketing projects. You will need to display versatility in order to handle ad-hoc projects as assigned. You'll work on marketing automation, email, web dev, paid advertising, and more -- and the application of artificial intelligence to your projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing marketing campaigns
- Undertake ad-hoc marketing projects
- Manage administrative duties
Qualifications
- Demonstrated interest in marketing or advertising
- Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Business, Marketing or equivalent
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- You work smart, but fast. We're nimble and don't have the bureacuracy or layers of a large agency. Our clients appreciate it, so it's a must.
- A good person. We are a nice group of folks and want to add another one. No prima donnas. This a serious, but fun, environment. (The President loves to tell dad jokes. Prepare yourself to laugh, even if you don't think they're funny. We humor him.)
- Top-of-the-line project management and people management skills
