What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dealer Marketing Manager position at DIGITAL MONITORING PRODUCTS?
The Dealer Marketing Manager will be tasked with increasing the engagement of dealers with the resources and services that make up the Dealer Marketing Program. The individual will identify which dealers are lagging in certain product sales or marketing activity and create a plan to help them promote and sell more items and/or features to their customers. This individual will also work with Sales to help bring on new dealers into the DMP network and ensure they are aware of and trained on our offerings and how to access and use them.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Communications-related field or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years in B2B marketing experience, preferably in technology
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
- Have a good work attitude and work cooperatively with others in the department and company
- Detailed and accurate, with strong organizational skills
- Extremely strong written, oral communications and presentation skills
- Expertise in Marketing discipline(s)
- Ability to develop plans and prioritize competing assignments
- Ability to set and meet deadlines
- Ability to keep information in confidence
Responsibilities:
- Create programs to drive dealers to adopt and/or increase usage of DMP products/features and coordinate with leadership to meet department and organizational goals, including campaigns, webinars and communication strategies
- Develop program to efficiently create custom end user material for dealer use, including customizable collateral and videos, email and social media content, product and lifestyle photography, and other promotional material as needed.
- Develop and maintain training and marketing material, including regular webinars and help sessions, to promote awareness and use of Dealer Marketing Program
- Serve as the primary point of contact in Marketing for dealers.
- Create and maintain library of materials for dealer’s customers (end users)
- Identify underutilized DMP products/features/services (i.e., Training) and develop a plan of action
- Develop and maintain relevant content for DMP.com website
- Create thought leadership content to be posted to site and delivered via social media channels
- Develop leadership skills for self and direct reports.
