Job Description

Position Title : Director of Product Management - Customer & Partner Digital Interactions

Your role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Product Management for Customer & Partner Digital Interactions. This executive role is pivotal in directing the life-cycle management of market-facing digital interaction capabilities, such as customer / partner portals, associated digital toolsets, and APIs that deliver value to Digital Realty, partners and customers alike. The primary objective is to create differentiated experiences that are intuitive, simple to consume, and highly personalized through a comprehensive partner ecosystem.

What you'll do

  • Direct the end-to-end lifecycle of the Digital Interaction capabilities that serves the entire Digital Realty portfolio.
  • Accountable for the intended business results (both assumed and defined), including financial, operating and partner.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Product Development, SA / SE, Software, IT, Architecture / Engineering, Sales / Channel, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Partners, etc.) to drive business results.

Business Outcomes :

  • Lead the strategy, development, and execution of digital interactions, including portals, customer tools, and APIs, to ensure they align with customer value and market demands.
  • Establish and monitor key performance metrics to gauge the success and impact of digital interaction initiatives.
  • Continuously seek out opportunities for innovation and improvement in digital interactions to stay ahead of industry trends and customer needs.
  • Go To Market :

  • Foster and expand a robust partner ecosystem that enables personalized services and enhances the overall value proposition for customers.
  • Develop and implement monetization strategies through direct consumption of digital resources, both native and partner-driven, as well as through pull-through of other core services such as public & private networking, Hybrid AI, data center services, and advanced communications applications (security, routing, management, etc.).
  • Experience-first Philosophy :

  • Ensure an experience-first philosophy throughout the digital ecosystem (partners, customers, employees).
  • Drive the creation of seamless, differentiated digital experiences that are easy to understand and use, ensuring an exceptional user experience across all platforms.
  • Instill a philosophy that prioritizes a digital-first posture in all service developments and enhancements.
  • Strategic Planning :

  • Develop strategic plans for digital interactions, aligned with the overall business objectives and market demands.
  • Direct the Digital Interaction portfolio throughout its lifecycle.
  • Define and prioritize key initiatives to drive growth and adoption of digital interactions, including expected business outcomes.
  • Monitor and assess the performance of strategic initiatives, adjusting as needed to ensure success.
  • Stakeholder Engagement :

  • Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, customers, partners, and industry associations.
  • Effectively communicate the vision, strategy, and progress toward expected business outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to support the successful development and delivery of services.
  • What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in product management, with a focus on interconnection services, software, digital interactions, data center and advanced applications (i.e. : AI, Private Data, Security) or related fields.
  • Proven track record of leading and mentoring product management teams to achieve business objectives and drive growth.
  • Strong understanding of digital tools, APIs, and customer portal development, with a keen ability to translate customer needs into actionable product strategies.
  • Deep commitment to understanding and addressing customer needs and improving the customer experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and strategy.
  • Communication : Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences across and vertically throughout the organization including execute leadership team.
  • Innovative Mindset : Creative and forward-thinking approach to product development and market strategies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
