As a Human Resources Generalist at Digital Path, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our core values and cultivating a thriving workplace environment, leading by example. Your primary focus lies in hiring, recruiting, learning & development, and employee engagement initiatives. You play a central role in these areas, aiming to attract top talent, facilitate employee growth, and foster a productive work environment. Plus, you'll help shape our HR objectives and systems, including tracking and reporting all pre-onboarding information, open positions, and exits. Your role includes managing various HR programs like performance management, recruiting, and onboarding. You'll support and take directions from the Human Resources Supervisor while reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.


Additional information:

  • This position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm Pacific Time.
  • This role requires on-site presence and does not offer remote work options.
  • You will be expected to work some overtime on occasion.
  • You may be required to drive for the companies at times.

Minimum Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate seamless new-hire onboarding process, preparing paperwork and schedules to ensure a positive first-day experience in collaboration with various departments.
  • Manage administrative tasks related to onboarding and new-hire orientations, including accurate data entry in HRIS and compliance audits.
  • Utilize various recruitment channels including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
  • Develop and promote the employer brand to attract top talent.
  • Conduct and lead interviews, prepare necessary documentation such as offer letters, facilitate background checks, and coordinate drug screenings and physicals for new hires.
  • Set up new hire accounts in Rippling, ensuring completion of required documents.
  • Conduct orientations and company tours for new hires.
  • Maintain employee files, oversee pre-onboarding activities, monitor training compliance, and manage performance reviews.
  • Handle various administrative tasks including typing, formatting, proofreading, copying/scanning documents, and routing correspondence.
  • Design and develop training programs and materials tailored to address identified needs and objectives.
  • Deliver training sessions using various methods such as workshops, e-learning modules, and on-the-job training that are engaging the participants and promoting skills or knowledge development.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on best practices for performance management and recruiting.
  • Manage unemployment claims and respond to them promptly.
  • Ensure completion of I-9 forms and review related documentation.
  • Assist in communicating, interpreting, and updating Job Descriptions, and contribute to policy development.
  • Conduct compensation benchmarking and salary analysis to ensure competitive pay structures for Job Descriptions.
  • Provide support to employees on absence, health issues, conduct, grievances, organizational changes, and other employee relations matters.
  • Assist with Workers Compensation claims and related processes.
  • Generate HR reports as requested by management.
  • Assist with special HR projects, such as system transitions, restructuring initiatives, or policy rollouts.
  • Stay updated on labor laws and ensure the company policies and practices remain compliant.
  • Preform audits on training and required documents, such as I-9’s, Antiharassment training, PCI/CPNI training, etc.
  • Maintain HR documentation and knowledge base (SOP’s) using platforms like Guru to ensure accessibility and accuracy.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Minimum 3 years of successful Human Resources or Office experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field preferred.
  • Preferred HR Certification: SHRM-CP or PHR.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Rippling, Asana, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint software preferred.
  • Ability to adapt and learn new technical systems.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficient in Office 365 and Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Project, Access, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in recruitment and hiring processes, including onboarding and orientation.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Collaborative, professional, and positive demeanor.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the office.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time and use repetitive motions including writing and typing.
  • Specific vision requirements include close, distant, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
  • Requires use of near vision with or without correction, and an ability to see details at close range (such as using a computer monitor, reading reports, etc.).
  • Use of computer systems, video displays, keyboard, mouse, and other peripherals for prolonged periods of time.
  • Use of hands to hold, grip, carry, and physically interact with objects, tools, or controls.
  • Must be able to navigate all areas of the office, occasionally including areas accessible only by stairs.
  • May require carrying, lifting, pushing and/or pulling objects up to 55 pounds.
