Overview
The temp-to-perm QA (Quality Assurance) Manager supports the QA team on resource allocation, process, and technical aspects of testing activities. The individual in this position must be a quality enthusiast. The QA Manager will be comfortable with all technology involved in the teams' work, and be proficient with Test Management tools, KPI implementations, and other testing tools. The person in this role will proactively work on skills development for all QA resources.

Compensation Range: $60/hr-$80/hr. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.

Responsibilities
KEY FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversees and supports creating, sustaining, and improving the testing strategy across multiple clients.
- Participates in client requirements reviews, provides support on requirement refinements, and communicates QA needs through the static testing cycle.
- Manages and audits work traffic across high complexity projects by coordinating with senior team members, providing, and utilizing estimation efforts, and tracking project priorities
- Guides and supports scheduling, staffing, and risk management for QA projects.
- Guides, improves, and resolves blockers for specialized QA teams in complex types of testing such as security, functional, mobile, API, and others.
- Guides the implementation of new technologies, tools, and strategies through formal business cases considering budget, tech availability, complexity, and other applicable factors.
- Creates and participates in pitches about automation initiatives for potential clients, delivering robust, concise, and business focus cases for QA utilizations and methodologies.
- Acts as a technical guide for the QA teams and fosters process improvement initiatives and adherence to best practices.
- Leads the formulation and adoption of QA and operational standards, best practices, organizational policies, processes, and strategic plans.
- Carries out management responsibilities following the organization's policies and applicable laws; this includes interviewing, hiring, and training employees; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints.
- Ability to effectively share relevant information about people's performance, propose, and act toward each case.
- Contributes to the assessment, analysis, planning, design, and delivery of training and quality solutions, collaborating with L&D and stakeholders.
- Lead QA Automation efforts for different clients and services.
MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Four-year degree (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development Degree or equivalent preferred
- 10 years of QA Engineering experience.
- 3-4 years of QA Leadership experience.
- Experience in software development and or web development methodologies and frameworks.
- Expert in creating Test Plans, test cases, status, and team metrics reports.
- Expert in the following QA approaches: smoke, regression, integration, UAT, Accessibility testing, functional, non-functional, compatibility and responsiveness, etc.
- ISTQB Test Manager and/or Advanced Test Automation level certified is preferred.
- Expertise in Automation tools (Selenium IDE, Java, Ruby, Cucumber)
- Gerkins syntax, Jira/ATM, TestRail
- Application testing for Native, Web and Hybrid apps
- Defect analysis and solving across major market OS.
- Proficiency with Front and Back-end Technologies
- Expertise in Web Services testing (Restful, SOAP)
- Expertise in Agile Project lifecycles
