- Pay Rate:
- $75/hr on w2 without benefits for LOCAL
- $80/hr on w2 without benefits for TRAVELLER
- Contract Duration: 9 weeks
- Shift: 8 hrs shifts (7:00 AM-3:30 PM)
- Guarantee hour: 40/hr
Summary:
The Director of Nursing (DON) oversees and coordinates nursing operations within a healthcare facility, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with regulatory standards. This leadership role involves managing nursing staff, developing policies and procedures, and collaborating with other departments to optimize care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, hire, and train nursing staff.
- Manage schedules to ensure adequate staffing and continuity of care.
- Provide mentorship, support, and performance evaluations for nurses.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Monitor nursing practices to align with evidence-based standards and organizational goals.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to evaluate patient outcomes and care delivery.
- Address and resolve any patient care concerns or complaints.
Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in DON
- Active BLS
- Covid card
- WV state License
