Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Sonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality imaging while providing excellent patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques, anatomy, and physiology, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
Duties
- Perform ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe environment during procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to discuss findings and assist in diagnosing medical conditions.
- Ensure proper patient positioning and comfort during examinations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
- Stay updated on advancements in sonography technology and techniques.
- Provide education to patients regarding the procedure and any necessary preparations.
- Adhere to safety standards and regulations in the use of ultrasound equipment.
Submission Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience - Required
- Level 2 Experience - Required
- Recent traveler experience - highly preferred
