Job Title: Sonographer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sonographer to join our medical team. The Sonographer will be responsible for using ultrasound equipment to capture images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and be able to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform ultrasound scans on patients as requested by physicians
- Ensure images are of the highest quality for accurate diagnosis
- Communicate findings to healthcare providers and assist in interpreting results
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while using ultrasound equipment
- Collaborate with other members of the medical team to provide comprehensive patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sonographer
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in using ultrasound equipment and technology
