Dignity Brain Health is a leading outpatient psychiatric clinic that provides patients in the greater Boston area with compassionate and evidence-based treatment for depression using Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy. We are pleased to be able to offer TMS Therapy to our patients and to see their lives transformed for the better. TMS is a highly effective, non-invasive therapy for depression for people who have already tried anti-depressant medication but still have symptoms of depression. This outpatient therapy is FDA cleared since 2008 and is covered by insurance, and has for many years helped patients with depression who have not received adequate results from antidepressants.
We are seeking a TMS technician/clinician who will be trained by us to administer in-office TMS treatments under the direction of our supervising/treating clinician. Your primary responsibility will be to administer and manage the specific clinical services, interact compassionately with patients and complete additional office administrative tasks, including TMS treatment session documentation.

We are seeking a TMS technician/clinician who will be trained by us to administer in-office TMS treatments under the direction of our supervising/treating clinician. Your primary responsibility will be to administer and manage the specific clinical services, interact compassionately with patients and complete additional office administrative tasks, including TMS treatment session documentation.
Job Requirements:
- Administer TMS treatments according to specific protocols determined by your supervising clinician. Set up the TMS medical device and monitor all aspects of the treatment sessions for patient comfort and treatment accuracy.
- Provide excellent patient care and treat patients with compassion while developing trust and rapport. Empathic personality, and an enjoyment in caring for patients directly. Provide support, reflective listening, and compassion to patients struggling with depression and/or anxiety.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with patient comfort, coil contact, other side effects, and TMS system setup throughout treatment, along with clinically appropriate responses to issues that arise in treatment.
- Schedule patient appointments based on your and the patient’s schedule availability using electronic medical record software.
- Maintain electronic medical records in compliance with HIPAA.
- Contribute to a positive work environment, including a safe and therapeutic environment for daily treatment sessions
- Act courteously and with tact in dealing with patients, visitors and the public
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Follow established treatment and office procedures
- Maintain professional appearance and demeanor
- High conscientiousness, and ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy regarding patient details
- A positive attitude showing initiative and willingness to adapt to change
- Administer weekly psychiatric rating scales
- Communicate with TMS psychiatric clinician who oversees patient treatments
- Attend all regular clinic meetings and check-ins
- Assist other staff in providing needed documentation for insurance preauthorization, benefits investigation, and/or reimbursement
- Successful completion of TMS Certification (training and certification provided during the initial period of employment).
- Perform other related clinical and administrative duties, as necessary.

- Bachelors in clinically related field upon starting (Preferred)
