Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 350 providers and 850 support staff who cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 sub-specialty services. The physicians and APPs provide clinical services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal academic research and leadership roles. DHMG is also heavily involved in preparing tomorrow's healthcare providers. We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Chandler, Arizona. You will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive and high-quality care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders.
Responsibilities
- See patients in the outpatient clinic full time Monday-Friday
- May have some limited opportunity for patient care in the hospital setting
- Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to Gastroenterology patients under the supervision and responsibility of a Physician
- Participate in education development and growth of DHMG Gastroenterology Division
- Work closely with the administrative and clinical directors for the GI Service Program to ensure quality and regulatory compliance in provision of clinical services
Qualifications
PA Requirements:
- Degree as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Must hold and maintain: a.) AZ Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants License, b.) NCCPA - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant.
- Valid DEA registration.
- Must meet credentialing criteria for medical staff
NP Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN)
- Graduate of accredited program for Nurse Practitioners
- Compact state or Arizona RN license
- Arizona Advanced Practice Nurse license
- Must hold and maintain National Certificate as a nurse practitioner in area of specialty under AZ regulations: a.) NP-AACN, b.) NP-AANP, c.) NP-ANCC
- Valid DEA registration
- Must meet credentialing criteria for medical staff
