Our Medical Aesthetic Practice continues to grow after being in business for 19 years. We are seeking an experienced Receptionist to join our great team of professionals and are in need of someone with excellent customer service skills and a personality that is upbeat and positive. The Medical Office Receptionist position at Dignity Medical Aesthetics is the first point of contact for our patients. It involves collecting and updating demographics, taking complete and accurate messages, and scheduling mutually acceptable appointment times utilizing an electronic practice management system. There is a large amount of patient chart preparation that requires strict attention to detail.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Will Complete the really Attention to Detail Quiz
- 1-2 years' experience as a Medical Receptionist & Aesthetics experience also a plus
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Able to work independently & multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized & detail oriented
- Able to keep a high standard of sanitation and safety according to health codes
- Must have strong clerical background
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
- Must have a passion for skin care and be open to extensive training
- Will include a cover letter on why you would like to work in this setting
Duties include:
- Answering phones, scheduling appointments and other tasks
- Checking patients in and out
- Pulling, organizing and preparing patient charts
- Helping with supply inventory and ordering
- Assisting patients with skincare product recommendations
- Other tasks as directed
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills are essential
- Detail Oriented
- Friendly, outgoing personality
- Interest in medical aesthetics and willingness to gain product knowledge
- Keyboarding skills and the ability to utilize computer equipment and software are required as is experience with other types of standard office equipment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Power Point. Knowledge of DaySmart medical software a plus
- Willingness to work every other Saturday
Preferred Qualifications:
- Six (6) month's experience in an outpatient setting as a Medical Office Receptionist preferred; or an equivalent amount of experience in a high-volume customer service role in another industry/environment
- College Degree
- Familiarity with an electronic practice management system is preferred
- Experience with multi-line phones/ACD phones preferred
- Medical terminology preferred
- Experience in working with paper medical records preferred.
