Requirements
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced In-Plant Inspection Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years previous in-plant inspection experience, including production of standard heavy-duty transit buses. They must be experienced with or certified in welding inspection and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, digital photography, and internet transmission of digital photographs and electronic reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-plant inspection services for the manufacturing of Dallas Area Rapid Transit's (DART's) Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Bus Fleet.
- Review and become familiar with the manufacturer's in-plant quality control system.
- Identify and report any non-compliance or deviations from quality standards in real-time.
- Document these issues immediately and report them directly to both the manufacturer's designated quality control representative and DART's PM and DPM and/or designee.
