Position Overview :
The Senior Marketing Events Specialist will help inform and execute on event strategy, drive design efforts and deliver high quality Diligent branded events designed for our Board of Directors and Executive community. This collaborative role includes working closely with the Diligent Institute to suggest, develop and execute on concierge level experiences that amplify the Diligent brand. The person in this role will quickly have exposure to senior stakeholders, our most prominent customers and will be critical to helping Diligent meet its goals, particularly related to our Governance Business Unit. The role involves working to build experiences for high-profile individuals by getting to know their preferences and interests and designing unforgettable experiences that engage this selective audience and form a sense of community among them.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the Diligent Institute and cross-functional internal teams, to set event goals and objectives for events targeted to our Board of Directors community. Events will include :
Roundtable discussions - live 2-hour discussions with 25-35 specific peer groups of directors / C-suite leaders (e.g., public company General Counsels, pre-IPO directors, public company CFOs) on a specific topic, taking place over a meal,
