Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping customers find the right products. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming shopping environment, assisting customers with their purchases, and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Duties

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product information to effectively assist customers.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Stock shelves and organize merchandise to maintain an appealing store layout.
• Conduct product demonstrations to engage customers and promote sales.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations within the store.
• Utilize basic math skills for inventory management and sales transactions.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic math skills essential for cash handling and retail math applications.
• A willingness to learn about products and services offered in the store is essential for success in this role.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 – 40 per week
