Sales Associate

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming shopping environment and ensuring that our customers have a positive experience. This position involves working in a fast-paced retail setting, where you will assist customers with their needs, manage inventory, and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
• Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor by restocking shelves and managing inventory levels.
• Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems for processing sales and returns efficiently.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth store operations.
• Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures while maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment.
• Meet personal sales and credit goal

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and cash handling practices is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for interacting with customers and team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• A willingness to learn new skills related to stock management, merchandising, and customer service is essential.
