Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in locating merchandise.
- Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions and processing returns.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring that apparel displays are visually appealing.
- Team player with ability to pivot and prioritize efficiently.
- Utilize retail math to assist customers with sizing, pricing, and product information.
- Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products and promotions.
- Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when answering calls or taking customer orders over the phone.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance overall store performance.
Experience
- Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to handle cash and transactions accurately.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse customer base.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Ability to create relationships and repeat clientele
- Selling skills, ability to upsell, persuade is vital for success, willingness to learn is key.
- Basic math skills are essential for processing transactions accurately.
- Experience in retail sales or knowledge of apparel trends is beneficial but not mandatory, however willingness to learn is key.
